If you’re adding a debit card and you’re not getting the SMS verification code, try the steps below.
Note: To receive the SMS verification code, you must have active cell service (SMS won’t deliver over Wi-Fi only).
Try this first
Wait 1–2 minutes and tap Resend code
Check for filtered messages
Look for “Unknown senders” / “Spam” / “Filtered messages”
On iPhone:
- In Messages, tap the Filters button.
- Tap Spam.
- Look for a thread from +1 (866) 990-4080
On Android: check Spam & blocked
- Open the Messages app
- Tap the Menu (top right)
- Select Spam & blocked (or Blocked numbers / Spam)
- Look for a thread from +1 (866) 990-4080
Make sure your phone can receive SMS right now
Turn off Wi-Fi calling (sometimes helps)
Toggle Airplane Mode on/off
Restart your phone
Check if you opted out of texts
If you previously replied STOP, your carrier will block messages from us.
Open your texting app
Text START to +1 (866) 990-4080
If you get a confirmation, go back to Keeper and request the code again

Sometimes this is a carrier/service-provider filtering issue. The more info you share, the faster we can troubleshoot.
Please include:
Your full name + employer
The mobile carrier you use (Verizon / AT&T / T-Mobile / etc.)
Confirm you’re trying to add a debit card
A screenshot of your text thread with +1 (866) 990-4080 showing your START message and any response (or no response)
