If your available balance suddenly drops (or disappears), it usually means your earnings moved into your payroll period and will be paid in your regular paycheck.
The most common reason: payroll cutoff (disbursement deadline)
Keeper uses employer payroll timing. When you reach your employer’s payroll cutoff:
those earnings are no longer “available to cash out” in the app, and
they’re treated as part of your normal paycheck instead.
Think of it as, it didn’t vanish; it moved to payroll.
Other common reasons your balance can drop
You cashed out: your available balance will decrease after a cash out.
Hours/shifts updated: if your employer corrected hours, approved/rejected a shift, or updated timekeeping, your available balance can change.
Limits reached: limits don’t remove your balance, but they can prevent you from cashing out more (even if you still see an amount).
What to do
If it’s close to payday, check your next paycheck for those earnings.
If you recently cashed out, review your recent activity in the app.
Contact support if
Your balance disappeared far from payday, or
Your employer confirms your hours are correct, but the app doesn’t reflect it
Include:
Full name + employer (and facility if applicable)
Approx. amount that disappeared
Date of your last worked shift and/or last cash out
